香林舎万九 Kōrin Shamankyū*
いや高き人も目川の初若菜御召に妹かたつきうぢほん
The noblest are the first young greens of Mekawa, and their younger sister is the Katatsuki-udon**

* Another name for Ōta Nanpō, a kyōka poet who was active in the late Edo period

** a kind of thick noodle made from wheat floor

The seal in the lower left corner is that of the collector Hayashi, Tadamasa
