What is the translation of this chinese signature or is it japanese?

I don't think I am wrong, but in a quickly search I didn't find any chinese artist called:

春桂鳴 (Chun Guiming)

The only related clue appears in the National Palace Museum digital archive in Taipei, where a Song Dynasty painting by Xu Chongsi (徐崇嗣) is titled 《瓊蘂春鳴》 (Qiongrui Chunming).
