Subject:"Marker" Attached To The Bottom Of A Chinese Dish
Posted By: Bruce Sat, Jun 14, 2025 IP: 99.60.109.187 Please let me know if you recognize the marker that is attached to the bottom of this dish, I have never seen something like this on Chinese ceramic. It would appear to be ceramic or pottery and is attached by a metal pin. I did an online photo search with no luck. |

Posted By: Bruce Tue, Jun 17, 2025 Awesome, thanks so much. I have collected quite a bit of older Chinese pottery and ceramics but never saw an export seal like this, with a pin holding it to the dish. Learning is half the fun of collecting. |
