Dear experts, Please supply any information about the following workshop and artist. Kyoto Satsuma vase, signed in a black cartouche ‘Seikōen Satsuma-yaki’ (盛廣園薩摩焼) and further inscribed ‘painted by Chōkei’ (長慶画) with the artist’s red seal. The Seikōen workshop and the painter Chōkei do not appear in the standard Satsuma reference literature. Can you give any information about this artist or any references?
