Here is the second of two paintings my friend Chris inherited. He wants to know the artist and period, and if it might have any value beyond decorative. Thank you for providing this service!

This is Chinese, post 1980s or so, and shows figures from China's ethic minority groups (not sure precisely which) gathered for a holiday celebration in a Han Chinese style outdoor garden. The seal may to the left of the inscription may contain more information about the painter, who is otherwise identified only as 錫麒 Xiqi. Painting seems skilled but fairly generic. This wouldn't be considered collectible art I don't think. From the penciled label, this may be the second of several hanging scrolls intended to be displayed side by side.
