Japanese bronze altar vase (usubata form). Flared trumpet rim, compressed globular body on tall lobed pedestal base. Relief band of phoenix birds flanking floral motif. Dragon-head ring handles on shoulders. Dark brown patina with green verdigris on base. Two character stamped mark on base reads 宗甫 (Sōho?) with possible additional characters. Likely Meiji period (1868-1912). Seeking maker/foundry identification and period confirmation.
