Another piece of modern antique.

Seal,
儲秀宮製 Chuxiu gongzhi Made for the Palace for Gathering Elegance*

*located in the Imperial Palace, Peking for the use of the First-rank Concubine

Side inscription,
玉阶生白露 夜久侵罗袜 却下水晶帘 玲珑望秋月
Dewdrops gather on the jade steps
soaking my silk stockings as the night deepens.
I lower the crystal curtain, gazing at the exquisite autumn moon.

"Lament on the jade steps" (玉階怨) is a five-character ancient poem written by Li Bai, a poet of the Tang dynasty.

With regards,
I.Nagy

Dear Mr. Nagy, after close inspection of the seal it turns out it could be genuine. It has genuine use wear old dirt in the seal script like it was buried at one time.

Dear Alex,
In the inscription on the side of the seal, the following characters are those that were simplified in accordance with the Chinese Character Simplification Scheme promulgated in 1956. In other words, they were not in use before 1956.
Their pre-1956 forms are shown in parentheses
阶(階) 罗 (羅) 帘 (簾) 珑 (瓏)

For Chinese counterfeiters, applying old-looking dirt is a piece of cake.

With regards,
I.Nagy
