I am interested in the character on the bowl, the maker, use, and approximate age of piece.

Any information is appreciated.

The mark underneath this Japanese sake cup reads: Kutani 九谷.
Which means it's Kutani ware. Date: 1930's.

The name of the decorator is on the inside, but unfortunately I can't decipher it.
