Subject:Small jar/urn
Posted By: Moyca Thu, Nov 09, 2017 IP: 92.37.78.238 I have this small jar with foo dog on it and I would like some help dating it. It's about 8 inches tall and it is hand painted. |

Subject:Re: Small jar/urn
Posted By: Martin Michels Fri, Nov 10, 2017 Both marks read as: Hidari 左 (left) Ni 二 (two / 2). So one of a pair. |

Posted By: Bill H Fri, Nov 10, 2017 The mark is a factory notation indicating 'vase #2 for left side" (in a garniture display). |
