Kindly assist in the identification of the marks/characters and indicate which period it maybe attributed to.

The piece is as follows;

i.) Blue and White vase with characters on the body. *(8 Characters)

大元国至正八年制，made in the 8th year of Zhizheng, Da Yuan (AD1348). Apparently this is a fake piece.
