Subject:Blue White Porcelain Tripod?
Posted By: shadyoak Sat, Dec 29, 2018 IP: 50.127.217.217 We are seeking to learn more about a blue and white porcelain tripod vessel. It has an unusual hole opening in the base created by an extension of a curve of the base up into the vessel for a couple of inches. This inward neck resolves in a hole opening. This has a very old piece of wire twisted around the top neck for purposes of hanging. Does anyone know what this item is, how it may have been used and/or any manufacturer/age/value information that can be shared? Thank you. |
