Posted By: Bill H Fri, Jan 04, 2019 The glaze looks or was made to look at least a century older than the biscuit foot, which appears to be brand new. I suggest you go with the vulnerable foot for a clue to age. Otherwise, if I ever saw a jar like this, I didn't take notice. The "Seal" impression at the foot has a "Fu" (福) for good fortune character, while the strap handle has another "Fu" (富 - Wealth) and "Wen" (文 - Culture & Literature). My visceral opinion is Chinese, but I defer to anyone who might recognize it.
