Subject:Origin of Cloisonee Jar and Lavender Vase
Posted By: Tom W. Sat, Jan 12, 2019 IP: 184.98.118.233

Hello,
I am having trouble deciding if these two pieces are Chinese or?

The vase is ceramic and not what I would call hard, but it's heavy and there's a lip inside at the base of the neck.

The cloisonne jar is brass, also heavy.

I'm bumping this because I didn't get any replies the first time around.

I'd also like to know about the Imari Jar pictured in this reply. Specifically it's age and origin.

Thanks in advance :)

I do not have information about the Cloisonee Jar and Lavender Vase .

The Imari jar is Japanese Arita Imari, in the style of Hichozan or Zoshuntei, date: 2nd half of the 19th C.

Regards,
Martin.
