Hi everyone,

I hope you all well.

I believe this is a chinese rhino horn carving.

Any information would be appreciated.

Kind regards

Its likely that it is carved rino horn. Im personally unaware of any imitation materials that are this convincing. I cant speak for its exact age but I would be confident in saying prior to the 20th century.

Sorry to disagree, but in my opinion this is a low grade horn carving typically to be found today in the markets of Asia.
Probably of bovine origin, maybe water buffalo?,it is the wrong shape and quality to be rhino.
Regards
Tony
