但使姚家鎮全惹
沈春亭畔不非慶
The whole town of the Yao* family is set into turmoil
Nobody is on the river bank at the Chenchun pavilion who wouldn`t be happy

*During the Tang Dynasty a certain Yao family succeded to breed a special type of peony which is called the Yao Yellow. The above couplet is referring to this legendary story.
