Subject:Large lidded bowl
Posted By: Arge Mon, May 06, 2019 IP: 64.34.75.4

Hi all

So, I was got at an online auction (not ebay) a bowl. I haven't paid too much attention, it was a relatively small amount involved, but I liked the decorations, resembling a bit of family rose etc.
No descriptions provided and I haven't had the chance to inspect it in person.
I was hopping for something like a Republic era.
Today I picked up the item and to my surprise, the lidded bowl that I was expected to be like a 4-5" (there was no description provided beside Chinese porcelain bowl) proved to be a very large one (perhaps 12" or more, I still have to measure it) and pretty heavy
I can notice also a couple of iron spots too.

Now, I really don't know what it is. I took some pictures in a parking lot thinking it is a good light, but I am afraid that the colors are a bit off in the pictures. In some they appeared too bright, on others too dull. I tried to select the ones that may be the closest to the real thing.

Please let me know what do you think about this piece.
