Subject:signed gold dragon bauble identification
Posted By: Jason Karras Fri, Sep 13, 2019 IP: 2600:1700:3050:6f70: I've had this small gold bauble put away for the last 10 or 20 years and was never able to identify it. It has a dragon head and is signed on the interior. It measures approx. 0.75" x 0.75" x 0.25". Maybe originally part of a piece of jewelry? Any ideas? Thanks |

Posted By: Bill H Sat, Sep 14, 2019 When the last image is flipped 90-degrees to the left, the lower three characters read 金寶山 / Jin Bao Shan. 'Jin' could be a surname followed by the given name, but the literal translation sounds like this more likely is the shop name, 'Golden Treasure Mountain'. I can't read anything in the impression above this name. |
