This is a humorous promissory note written to the King of Hell (Enma - Yama) and jointly signed by three Buddhist monks.
Title: 借用証 - Shakuyō-shō Promisory certificate (Right side) to
閻魔大王殿 - Enma-daiō Dono - Enma King of Hell -(Bold letters, Left side)
Dated in the 1st Year of Bodhi (Buddhist) Enlightenment
菩提発心元年 - Bodai Hosshin-gannen - (Little bit enigmatic)
Sinature under the skull reads,
無常庵 法楽戲青 - Mujōan Hōraku -gishō - Mujōan, Pleasurer of the Pious Life
Upper seal,
無常庵 - Mujōan
Lower. leisure seal,
法楽 - Hōraku

With regards,
I.Nagy
