Signature reads,
國貞改二代目 - Kunisada aratamete nidaime
豊國画 - Toyokuni-ga
Picture of Kunisada changing his name to the second
Toyokuni
Censor's seal,
村松 - Muramatsu (Seal used between 1843-46)
Publisher's mark,
ゑびすや - Ebisuya (Shōshichi)

Utagawa Kunisada II 1823-80

In the year 1844-45 Kunisada used this "Kunisada changing his name to the second" signature, whereby he ignored the fact that Toyoshige has used the name Toyokuni for more than 10 years, so he was the 3rd of the name in reality.

With regards,
I.Nagy

The signature on your Japanese woodblock print reads "Kunisada aratame nidaime Toyokuni ga" meaning that it is by Utagawa Kunisada signing as Toyokuni (III). The Muramatsu censor seal means it was printed in 1843 - 1846.

If you are willing to show the full print, we can tell you more about it.

Cheers,
Stan
