Unusual plate with boys playing around i would like to find out how old it is and where it was made for sure think it is Chinese? It has an old bit of restoration but still attractive :) Thank you

Chinese, late 19th century or early Republic, judging by the Kangxi revival painting style and configuration of the bottom, having a low beveled biscuit foot surrounding a glazed countersunk center with modicum of kiln grit around the edges. A nice looking piece with a "children playing" pattern coveted by Chinese buyers, though the damage will take a toll on resale value.

Best regards,

I believe public benefit remains the forum goal, and I stick around here with a goal of learning new stuff about my collection, and showing parts of it when doing so helps make a point.
