Hi, Can anyone translate this mark for me please?
I believe this one from 19th century.

大明製 鵲曰治榮届本
Made under the reign of the Great Ming Dynasty
Magpie* says "The conduct of state prosperity is the basic"

*Magpie is considered to be a clever bird in China

A maxim from Confucius with slight alteration.
(治世為本)

The vase despite of the Chinese reign mark
rather looks Japanese.

With regards,
I.Nagy
