Subject:Celadon ware vase or pot
Posted By: Richard Mon, Jan 20, 2020 IP: 86.163.197.74

Could any of the experts out there please tell me anything about this what I beieve is a Celadon ware vase? It this a 20th Century copy or the real McCoy and how can a novice spot the difference?
Seems lots of Celadon ware items for sale on Ebay for a few pounds and upto lots of money for some Celadon ware, sold by auction houses like Christies.
As always the expert opinions on here are very much appreciated.
(P.s This item came from the same lot of items as a sgraffito floral bowl of the Qing Jiaqing reign (1796-1820,)Bill H very kindly gave me his opinion on)

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction.
I was hoping that i might have found another genuine old chinese porcelain item in this lot.
If you or any other expert reads this, could you (possibly) tell a novice, how to spot the difference between a replica Celadon ware item and a genuine old Celadon item?
A few pointers what to look out for, would be appreciated.
Thank you and as always. (any) reply is very much appreciated.
