Subject:Chinese artist identification - scroll painting
Posted By: Tony N Sun, Mar 29, 2020 IP: 86.168.117.200

Hello I was hoping there is a kind sole out there that can help me identify the artist that painted a series of scroll paintings. I was given them as a gift 30 years ago when visiting China on business. I know they represent Winter, Spring, Summer and Autumn however other than that nothing. They have been hanging on my home office wall for years and I thought it was about time I knew more about the paintings I look at most days. Attached are photo's of winter including a close up of the signature on the painting and on the scroll once rolled up. Many thanks. Tony

丁丑年初秋冩於長安 - Year of Fire-Buffalo (1997),
Beginning of Autumn, Painted in Chang'an

From this pseudonym the artist cannot be identified.
