Subject:seeking info on Chinese green russet Jade Celt with 'gold' inlaid Todie mask and archaic script
Posted By: Lee C. Mon, Mar 30, 2020 IP: 2605:e000:1419:89e4:

I am seeking any information on this opaque translucent nephrite, green with russet inclusions, ceremonial or presentation ax blade. Photos front and back and a close-up a front detail. All “Gold” metals are slightly raised and some are slightly worn thus expose 'gold' color better. Uncleaned. Metal untested. Small damage back bottom shows 'fibers' when view with a jewelers loop. Size is L: 11.5 inch / 30cm. W: at bottom almost 3.5 inch / 8. cm. D: slight taper toward top rom .03 to 04 cm. Weight in grams is 385 grams. A slight rounding tapering on edges. Surfaces are slightly uneven to the touch. More detail photos coming. I have tried but unable to find anything even remotely similar www. I'am a jade neophyte so any information would be appreciated. Thanks, Lee C.

Whatever material was used. it has been tampered with to make it look "ancient"
Simply : This is a fake

Just the main inscriptions, without being exhaustible,
Pic 1,3,
古天易之 - Ancient Gods' Divination
Pic.2 top and middle
禮信 - Courtesy and Faith
昌王之圭 - Jade *Gui of *Wenchang Wang

*Gui - Elonged pointed tablet held by ancient rulers on ceremonial occasions
*Wenchang Wang - Taoist deity in Chinese mythology

With regards,
I.Nagy
