Posted By: Yura Sun, Jun 07, 2020 IP: 176.106.204.132

Please help to identify the author of this surimono?
Here it is written in pencil - "Hoitsu is a student of Korin and the publisher of his works".
The the inscription and signature are made by hentaigana and hiragana. Accordingly, the following hieroglyphs were identified - 1B0E3, 1B083, 1B0E6, 1B09F, 1B0A3 and お. See - https://www.unicode.org/charts/PDF/U1B000.pdf
Thanks to anyone willing to help me

Dear Imre Nagy!

Thank you very much for the translation.
It is very surprising that there is not a single word about a turtle drinking from a plate. It is a pity that there is no signature and the seal is unclear. And why here under the image was mentioned as the author of Hoitsu?

Sincerelly Yura
