Subject:Famille Rose Large Charger plate
Posted By: Matt M Fri, Jun 19, 2020 IP: 99.33.196.67

Hello all, does anyone have any info on this mark? This charger has mold defects, doesn’t even sit flat on the table it wobbles. Shows decent age, no damage. If anyone knows anything about it ide appreciate the help. Thanks!

The mark, shown on its side, Reads 'Made in China' (Zhongguo Zhizao - 中國製造). The mark uses standard forms of characters, whereas in modern times China/Zhongguo is written '中国' instead of '中國'. This would indicate that your dish probably dates to the early third quarter of the 20th century. Website gotheborg.com shows examples of your mark and the modern ones.

Best regards,

Bill H.
