These pages are a part of the "Thousand Character Classics " 千字文 - a poem which has been used as a primer for teaching Chinese characters. Thousand different characters are used, all different and no single character is duplicated consisting of 250 verses of 4 character each.
The translation of the selected page,
造次弗離 ...don't leave them in emergency
節廉義退 Righteous,just, honest, retiring;
顛沛匪虧 though in failure, never lacking
