Subject:Marking on Bronze Vase
Posted By: Mary Tue, Sep 08, 2020 IP: 110.54.227.141

I acquired this bronze vase which its previous owner attempted to clean with a certain solution. It practically wiped out the patina at the bottom of the vase. Would this diminish the value of the vase? Although I don’t have a photo, there are blotches all over the vase which I believe came from the same solution used to clean the bottom part. Can this be repaired? Lastly, could someone please identify the artisan who made this vase? Thank you.
