Subject:Another Kunisada print translation requested
Posted By: Stan Mon, Sep 21, 2020 IP: 2601:18c:504:a6e0:21

Below is another of the Kunisada prints I recently purchased. Regrettably, the top has been trimmed into the image. Using my normal search techniques and having no Japanese language skills, I haven't been able to learn anything about this print. Besides the titles, I'd really like to know what the envelope in the makeup cabinet drawer says.

Thank you for any help.

Cheers,
Stan

Dear I. Nagy,

I can't thank you enough for this one! It made me smile. It seems that Kunisada wasn't above a little product placement in his prints.

I did some searches and went through the Boston MFA site, but haven't found this print (yet).

Cheers,
Stan
