Subject:Antique squat teapot identification

Hi, I recently came across this teapot. I believe it is Japanese, but cannot identify the maker or it's age. i would appreciate it if anybody could advise me please.

Hi,

I'm not 100% sure about the mark but it looks like: 日本, meaning "Nihon" or Japan.

What I can say is that it is Japanese, probably Noritake and dating to somewhere between 1900 and 1920. Afterwards, they were forced to write the country of origin in English.

My grandmother actually has something similar.

Nice pieces but produced in quite large numbers.
