Subject:painting by goshun/ old man

I work on this fine painting by Goshun and do not understand the icongraphy. An old man with baskets is walking through snow. In the baskets are buns or cakes.
I do have seen once a painting by Yosa Buson with the same subject. But thats it.
May be someone does know this subject, or the print collectors can relate this to a printed version....
I would appreciate your help.
