Hi,

To me, I'm not an expect but this looks like a modern production.

I've seen them around a lot. Hopefully someone with a bit more expertise will be able to tell you that I don't know what I'm talking about but that's just my own amateur assessment.

Regards,

Quite possibly genuine, looks genuine a lot of these where made. As with any Chinese ceramics almost impossible to prove, it's mostly a matter of opinion.

Thank you both for your responses. I aquired this bowl from a dealer who bought it in 2004 from a business man for 400 dollars. I bought it from him in 2019 for 1000 dollars. What I noticed about the bowl that caught my attention was the glaze pattern. I looks as if you are looking into night sky. those brown streaks makes the bowl even more appealing to the eyes. I looked almost every were to find a bowl that looks like this one but I haven't found it. Every bowl I find, the glaze is either dull or the glaze doesn't have a bas-relief like texture to it like this one does. That is just my observation of the the bowl.
