Subject:Help identifying Potter's mark on Japanese Celadon Incense Burner
Posted By: Axel Mon, May 31, 2021 IP: 2001:1c03:5b13:7100:

This mark is from a light blue celadon incense burner that's currently in transit to me. I have exhausted my methods of finding out who made it with this one.

Is there anyone who recognizes or can Id the maker? There is no box unfortunately.

Thank you in advance.

I have attempted to make the image more clear. Hopefully it helps.

I'm not sure if there's a closed square in the circle. It seems to be unconnected to the lower horizontal stroke but if i look too long it becomes like an illusion.. .

Kind regards,

Axel

千旦
亠一旦

I've been trying to find ways to find out the kanji used but it's hard to correctly interpret this kind of stuff for me. I also found a couple potter's marks that seemed similar but they're not making celadon, or not that I could find.

Any assistance is appreciated. I'll add a photo of the incense burner later.

Kind regards,
