Subject:Japanese kakejiku ‘dojo’?
Posted By: Mark Tue, Sep 07, 2021 IP: 2001:1c00:e17:9f00:d

Dear members,

Could someone help me out with translating this kakejiku?
If I’m not mistaken the main characters mean ‘dojo’ or ‘place of the way’? Is that correct?
What do the four vertical kanji mean and is it possible to decipher the red seals?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Cheers,

Mark

Thank you very much, I was hoping for you to respond to this topic! :)
Do you think it would be possible to find a photo of this chief abbot somewhere? I tried Google, but wasn’t lucky yet… Maybe if I were to contact this temple?
