This scroll was bought in Beijing in the late 1990's. I believe it has an 'faked' signature of someone famous. I'm just curious what that script says, and if anyone recognizes either the subject (was it copied from something famous) or who the actual artist might be based on the style. The seal is fairly illegible (I guess a warning indicator in itself) and seems to be gourd-shaped.

實父仇英　- Shifu Qiu Ying

The gourd-shaped seal should be "十州　Shizhou"

Qiu Ying　仇英　1494-1552
His courtesy name was Shifu 實父

Shizou 十州 (Ten Provinces) was his pseudonym - it refers to the central plain south of the Yellow River.
I think you are correct about the signature and picture itself.
