Subject:Embroidered Sleeves with Archaic Script
Posted By: Norman Sun, Apr 24, 2022 IP: 2600:1700:d710:9750:

These two sleeve panels were bought in Hong Kong in the late 90's. I believe the script refers to a poem. Any help with translation would be appreciated.

Here are the results of my endeavors which cannot be considered complete, but at least it gives you an answer to your request. Corrections and opinions are welcomed.
I can't read characters marked with □
Pic.1,
待到夕陽集舟□ - The ships wait and gather at sunset.....
Pic.2,
醉顔相映蓼花紅 - The red flowers of knotweeds reflect on their drunken faces
Pic.3, (right,
□酒肴消興不窮 - ..endless wine and dainties provide lasting pleasure
Pi.4,
漁家陪胖永樂中 - The fishermen are in a long-standing carefree enjoyment

With regards,
I.Nagy

Dear I. Nagy, My apologies, I remembered we had asked for a translation many years before- after some searching I found it. However, the seals weren't identified then either. Any idea about the seals? Or the source of the poem? Anybody have a guess on the date of the sleeves (I assume late Ching?)? Regards, Norman
