Inscriptions (Title)
促識圖 - Picture of knowledge propagation
X筆 - Painted by X
(I can`t read the first character, probably with the given name of the artist - the smaller seal probably with the name of artist is too faint to read - a better picture from this seal only would help)
Big seal on the title inscription is a well known colletor`s seal, it reads,
乾隆御覧之寶 - Treasure Seen by Qianlong (Emperor)
The other two seals are also collector seals.

I think your picture is a copy

With regards,
I.Nagy

Hi you said you think is a copy did you see the original? do you know who painted the original? I saw one by Fan Zeng 1938 why did someone use an early seal? it doesn't make sense

Dear Manny,
Given the similarly postured picture of Fan Zeng (范曾)- I found it on the net - it is highly conceivable that this is a counterfeit based on Fan Zeng`s work using fake collector seals. There are few genuine paintings with such seals outside of museums. These collector`s seals are very often counterfeit.Modern computer technology is capable of everything. The picture doesn`t look 200 years old anyway.
The illegible signature and the style of calligraphy doesn`t belong to Fan Zeng.
Regards,
I.Nagy
