Subject:Bronze bust
Posted By: Tony Tue, Jun 07, 2022 IP: 23.243.126.110

Dear friends,
It is on wooden stand at 32”, hollow yet quite heavy and with leather underlined.
Does not seem Asian?!
I would really appreciate your input 🙏
Tony

Looks like the work of Georges Émile Henri Servant (1828 - 1890).French.

Dear Steve,
Thanks so very much for your time and expertise with the info on the possible artist for the work!!!
Thank you :)
Your help gave me guidance on where to look further. I did some online readings on the artist and his works. So sorry for the burry pictures that were posted previously! Upon comparing the works from the suggested artist and this sculpture, there are resemblances, but not quite the same! I also can not find any foundry mark on this work.
I guess it will be one more of the pieces that I would never get to learn of its origin :)
