Subject:Identify artist - ROC gift to embassy

Good afternoon,
I am researching this scroll painting which was gifted to a member of the British Embassy in Kunming by Du Yuming.
I would be grateful if anybody could identify the artist.

Painter is Yuan Yunyi 袁韻宜 （female painter and Peking Opera playwright, died 2004), the painting is dated on the Double Ninth Festival (nine day of ninth lunar month), 1944.
