Subject:jade pieces

Hello,

I am herve from France and I have two objects made in jade. some flowers and bamboos are carved and a big flower on one of the edge. both edges have a hole. they are around 15cmx10cmx10cm. I wonder if anybody knows the aim of those two jade pieces and their approcimated age.

It does not look like Jade, but like some sort of green crystal.

It has more than a passing resemblance to the mineral fluorite, which comes in various colors, including this type of transparent green. See other examples at link and in picture below.
