Citation from Du Fu`s poem titled "Drink Songs of the Eight Immortals" in my rough translation.
汝陽三斗始朝天
道逢麹車口流涎
恨不移封向酒泉
Ruyang* drunk three pecks of wine in the morning before entering the imperial court,
On the road encountering a cart loaded with brewer`s yeast, the smell caused him drooling,
He regretted that it was not possible to obtain Jiuquan+ as fiefdom

王汝陽李璡 King Ruyang Li Jin

*Ruyang Li jin ?-750, grandson of Emperor Ruizong of Tang, imperial prince. King Ruyang was a good drinker, claiming the king of drinking
*Jiuquan 酒泉 (Wine Spring) County name in Guansu Province, it is said that the spring gushed up there tasted like wine.

No name, no date.
It seems to be only two pictures (this one and the next one) from a picture book covering all the Eight Immortals.

With regards,
I.Nagy

Many thanks for your help Mr Nagy. It's very interesting to read about Du Fu and his Eight Immortals and now finally to put names (Li Jin and Zhang Xu) to the faces in the drawings that I've been looking at for the past 25 years. Thanks again & best wishes, Steve
