Subject:Wa Hso Chan portraits

Hi
I have inherited 2 original paintings by WH Chan. I have searched online and can see some of his art sells for thousands while others does not. How do I find out if what I have is worth more than I am being offered? I can’t find a collectors group of this artist or anything to assist me. I live in South Africa.

Send high quality photos of the paintings to Christie's, Sotheby's and Bonhams, they will give you an idea of the value. If they all say no to giving you a quote price then you can assume its probably on the lower end. Good luck!
