This painting was purchased in Shanghai about 20 years ago. Probably painted in 2003. I have tried to identify the artist, but my Chinese skills are limited and I would like to know who made this painting.

Greatly appreciated if someone with knowledge could help me out.

Guizhou born contemporary painter.
Graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts of Northeast Normal University in 2012.
He is currently an associate professor at the School of Fine Arts Guizhou Minzu (Nationalities) University.

The child wears a costume associated with the ethnic "Miao" people, as they are called in China. In Laos and Vietnam, this group is known respectively as the Hmong and Montagnard. The term "Miao" (Cats), is considered to be offensive by the Hmong.
