Head,
咸宜通寶 - Xiángyí Tōngbăo - Xiángyí Universal Currency

Tail,
四方為則 - Sìfāng wèi zé - Rule by the Four Directions

Xiangyi Tongbao was the currency of Emperor Chengzong of Yuan a.k.a. Temür 1295-1297.

I don't think that this coin is an original from the 13th c.

With regards,
I.Nagy

I have already checked i coin catalogue and I am sure that the head of this amulet is identical with coins from Xianfeng period. That is not coin form the time of Chenzong.

咸豐通寶 - Xianfeng Tongbao
咸宜通寶 - Xiangyi Tongbao

They are both coins of the realm.
Note the differences of the second characters; 豐 "feng" and 宜 "yi"
For an outsider who does not read Chinese could be deceptive.

Thank you very much for response. Now I have seen the differenc to Xianfeng coins. I have checked in Hartill catalogue and this coin is for sure not from Temur. This has me inspired to further researches and I find out that it is coin from vietnamese emperor Ham Nghi from year 1885

Could it be that it is only one coin?
