Anybody have an update on Bill's health?

I was just thinking the other day that Bill had not posted in quite a long time. I really enjoyed his posts and learned a lot from them about Asian art, especially ceramics. I hope he is well.

I wrote the editors of this site some weeks ago asking about Bill and his status. I got no reply. I am glad others miss his wisdom and wit and are interested in his well being.

Hi all. Bill was extremely helpful re a piece I posted on this site back in 2012 - and terrific to communicate with. I heard through a contact (that you will all know but that I will not name here for privacy reasons) only yesterday that he has sadly passed away. I'll leave it up to those of you who knew him better than me to leave condolences etc.

Does anyone know how to contact the family?

Hi All. Apparently Gerald D has heard from Bill and hence the sad news of his passing was rather premature - to say the least. It just goes to show that, well in the Asian arts world as in any, information should always be questioned and double checked before shared. Be well Bill!

As Mark Twain said" Reports of my death are greatly exaggerated."Great news of Bills' continued presence in the land of Asian Art appreciation.
