Subject:Painting on cloth of perhaps Hindu goddess Durga?
Posted By: Claudia Clifford Mon, Jun 13, 2022 IP: 2600:6c67:617f:b1a8: I’d appreciate any information about this 66” by 50” painting on cloth. The photos attached are the painting as a whole and in two halves. I don’t any any verified information on it’s country of origin or how old it is. I’ve been told that it might be of the Hindu goddess Durga with lion heads. I’d appreciate knowing if it has any value. It’s possible my grandparents acquired this around 1910, but I have no way of knowing for sure. Thanks for any information you can provide. |
