Subject:Woodblock print identification help?
Posted By: Adam Sat, May 13, 2017 IP: 97.81.208.247 I found this old painting not so long ago in my parents' house and wanted to know a bit more about it. All I know about this piece is what I've shown-- no artist, no date, no nothing. Just a seal and what I assume to be Japanese writing on the side. If anybody can help identify this, it would make my week!

Posted By: rat Tue, May 16, 2017 Chinese painting or repro thereof signed Baiyu (or Boyu) 伯玉, someone who is different from the contemporary artist Zhang Baiyu. Inexpensive and for the tourist market but decent quality relatively speaking. Other examples of your artist's works are here:
