Subject:Shinto Priest, can you translate stamp?
Posted By: Jamie Sat, Jun 10, 2017 IP: 71.237.232.162 I recently received a brass or bronze sculpture from a relative who passed away. She served in post war Japan and I believe this is from her time there. It looks to be a Shinto Priest who, at one point, possibly had a removable mask. I'm looking for any insights you may have on this piece as well as any information on the sculptures stamp. A portion of the engraving has been scratched out.
