I found this ivory incense burner for sale. The ad doesn't divulge a lot of detail. I know it is hard to tell much from a poorly taken photo, but I'm hoping that someone can give me an opinion on whether or not this is real ivory. I have not seen the piece in person. There is minimal damage to the railing.

To me it looks ivory you can see the Schreger lines on the left handle so it looks like elephant ivory. But as Gman points out in one of my posts there is a great financial incentive to fake that, he gives some great information;

You will find it towards the end of the comments. I wouldn't like to say it definitely is with out handling, but it does look like.
