Subject:Chinese bronze insence burner footed 6 character mark
Posted By: John Thu, Oct 05, 2017 IP: 94.197.120.4 Hello everyone , I purchased this piece at an auction, I could not trace the mark at all. Can anyone tell me the mark, or anything about the piece. I do like it. It doesn't look like it has been treated with acid or anything like this to make it age, so it does have a natural look. Help is much appriecated. I do try to study before I post a question but my study has brought me no closer to an answer. Thanks anyone who can help. |

Posted By: Guy Mon, Oct 16, 2017 It is a Chinese bronze planter or jardinière bearing a Xuande mark but most probably made during the Qing period, late 19th century. |
